Pickled Beet Hummus

1 19oz (540 mL) can chickpeas, drained and rinsed
1 cup (250 mL) Bick’s® Sliced Beets
1/4 cup (50 mL) olive oil
1/4 cup (50 mL) plain yogurt
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp (5 mL) salt
1/4 tsp (1 mL) hot sauce, optional
1. Place chickpeas, beets, olive oil, yogurt and garlic in food processor. Blend until smooth. Season to taste with salt and hot sauce. 

2. Transfer hummus to a medium bowl. Cover and chill. Serve with warm pita chips, crackers of your choice or fresh cut vegetables.

Preparation Time : 10 minutes

Makes: 2 cups

Tip:
1. To save time hummus can be made 1 day ahead.
